Week 30: 7/22/12-7/28/12

Sunday, July 22nd: Snuggling at home with Daddy today, practicing rolling around on the floor and walking all over the place.

Monday, July 23rd: Hud's teeth have really been bothering him today... this picture was right after he was sitting up on my lap, looking around, then he just laid down and crashed.  Hope these teeth come in soon so we can get some relief.

Tuesday, July 24th: So excited to be up past bedtime and hanging out at Mimi and Pop's house.  Then, he got his eyes on their recycling bin, and was trying to get ahold of my Diet Dr. Pepper can - resulting in him standing all by himself for the first time!

Wednesday, July 25th: Hudson has decided that dog toys make the best toys!  Then, we got to visit Hud's new girlfriend, Bailey, who finally decided to make her appearance on the 20th :)  And tooth #2 has finally made it's appearance!!

Thursday, July 26th: So I finally have proof that I'm over 18, no longer living at my parents' house, and married.

Friday, July 27th: Today, Meagan and Ethan went shopping at BJ's with us.  The boys loved sitting in the shopping cart together... BFFs!

Saturday, July 28th: We just can't catch a break... first teeth and now he's sick.  Fever has been up and down but sticking between 99-102.5*, but the stuffy nose is finally subsiding.

Week 29: 7/15/12-7/21/12

Sunday, July 15th: Today, we went out for my early birthday dinner since Nate will have to work on Tuesday.  Hudson learned to hold his cup by himself (though he still isn't really drinking from it) and was munching on a pickle... wowzers!

Monday, July 16th: Hanging out at Mimi and Pop's house and we decided that the bath toys must correspond to the bathing venue... so our toy for getting washed in the sink? Spatula!!

Tuesday, July 17th: Happy 25th Birthday to me!  We had lunch with Ms. Joy today, spent hours at the DMV and optometrist, but got to see Presti too before heading to a HORRIBLE dining experience at Ruby Tuesday.

Wednesday, July 18th: Hudson has started playing with the puppies' toys instead of his jungle gym thing at Mimi and Pop's house... and since the puppies don't play with them (except to pull them out of the basket when Hud's reaching for them), he's got quite a selection!  Hud's also been particularly fascinated with Nate's watch today, so I bought him his own, little man sized one... which he immediately started chewing on.  Guess he likes it?  New food today: meatballs!

Thursday, July 19th: Working out with Daddy!

Friday, July 20th: Such horrible storms today that it set off the singing Mickey & Minnie dolls my parents brought back from Disney when we got married.  Hudson has started this thing where he scoots around in circles on his butt, gradually moving horizontally down the bathtub... a little annoying when I'm trying to get him washed, but absolutely adorable to see him utilizing his body to get where he wants to go.

Saturday, July 21st: HUDSON'S FIRST TOOTH IS THROUGH!  Tooth 2 is right behind it, 3 and 4 are starting to get red... he's going to have a mouthful before I know it!

Week 28: 7/8/12-7/14/12

Sunday, July 8th: So today my silly son has: showed his daddy how he learned the word "more", decided he likes sweet potato fries with mustard, pivoted his feet so he can turn 180* from holding onto the couch to holding onto someone else, and realized that as tasty as his toes are, mommy has toes he can eat too!

Monday, July 9th: Finally got the bathroom at least mostly presentable so I could show off the awesome paint color.  It was all white and boring before, and now I LOVE IT!!

Tuesday, July 10th: Went walking around with Presti today to try to get Miss Bailey to hurry up her grand appearance.  Hudson learned to roll from his back to his belly, so hopefully we'll get a little more sleep at night since he'll hopefully flop himself back over when he rolls at night.

Wednesday, July 11th: Caught the toe-chewing on camera!

Thursday, July 12th: Yay my bedroom furniture arrived!  Too bad we were still in bed when they showed up... guess it's better than the usual time frame window to arrival ratio :)

Friday, July 13th: Had a wonderful day out with Meagan and Ethan, including lunch at Mimi's where we got a picture of the boys sitting in the booth together.  Mimi (my mom, lol) got Hud a few Blue's Clues DVDs that I started him on today... not that you can see the tv screen, but that's it... but he was only interested for about 5 minutes.  Since he sleeps in a little pillow trench at my parents' house, I tried switching his crib up to that to help him sleep... see how that goes.

Saturday, July 14th: Mmmmm... loving some baby-sized Goldfish!  Seems like the crib arrangement is working, since Hud slept for two one hour naps and one two hour nap... let's hope it continues!
