Week 31: 7/29/12-8/4/12

Sunday, July 29th: Hudon's finally starting to feel a little better, though he's still super clingy.  I can't wait to get him back to sleeping alone... in his crib... for more than 15 minutes at a time... or just any of the above, really.
Monday, July 30th: I started going through all of Hudon's clothes today, desperately searching for stuff that will fit him, since it seems he's gone through another growth spurt, and came across a TON of stuff from Jessica that's Georgia Bulldogs - perfect for our trip down south in September (let's hope he doesn't outgrow it all before then). Today, Hudson has started trying to do pushups and has mastered scooting backwards... c'mon baby, that's not crawling... you're going the wrong way!
Tuesday, July 31st: Hudson stood up 100% by himself, not holding onto ANYTHING for over 10 seconds today! He's getting so big :(

Wednesday, August 1st: There we go, a picture of him standing by himself! Yesterday, he decided he was going to have performance anxiety and wouldn't let us get it documented. He likes to have something in his hands while he's standing so he doesn't think about it - otherwise he just sits back down.
Thursday, August 2nd: What to do with a baby while you have to potty, get dressed, and put in contacts? Put him in the sink! He can't get out of it, plus there's the added bonus of having a shiny faucet to chew on, lol.  Auntie had an MRI today of her "hemangeoma" and it turns out that she actually has a vascular malformation instead, which means a whole different treatment plan. So while the experience was a little "eh", Hudson enjoyed riding the stuffed animals while we waited FOREVER for her to be seen.

Friday, August 3rd: Big boy jammies! We're having a hard time finding zipper jammies with feet in 12 month size, but we did find these at the consignment store, and they have rubber grips on the bottom to keep him safe once he gets super mobile!
Saturday, August 4th: Happy 8 month birthday, little stinker! We have been taking his picture with his elephant to show size comparison and tried to take it with him standing too, which didn't quite produce the results we were looking for, but you get the idea :)
