Week 43: 10/21/12-10/27/12

Sunday, October 21st: We ended up staying the night in Raleigh to go to the pumpkin patch (we'd planned for yesterday, but Hudson went down for a strangely timed nap and we wouldn't have had enough time to go all the way out there, enjoy all that there was to do, take cute pictures, and pick a pumpkin before they closed), so here are a few favorites!

Monday, October 22nd: Pop and mini-Pop going for a walk with the puppies... I don't know which of the 4 of them enjoy it the most (but I'm thinking it's Hudson since he goes ballistic when we pull out the pack)
Tuesday, October 23rd: Hudson was sitting on the floor, playing with toys, when Tara (not pictured) jumped out the doggy door onto the deck.  Over the next 5-10 minutes, Hudson tentatively made his way over there, and examined the flap that covers the opening, eventually realizing that it leads to outside.  This picture is NOT staged, it's just at the end of his exploration as he tried to copy the puppy and head out onto the deck.
Wednesday, October 24th: Hello Squiggles!  Official due date is May 9th, but we'll be inducing on April 18th.  (S)he is looking great with a strong heartbeat and adorably jerky movements.  We'll be heading back in about a month for another look at our little cutie!
Thursday, October 25th: Oh, he's sooo Nate's child - guitar and video game controller.  Good thing I love him, now that I've got a mini version too ;-)
Friday, October 26th: Auntie Megan (Rara as Hudson has taken to calling her) was going to a Halloween party this evening and wanted to bring Hudson by to show him off to her friends (she's so in love with him; they're BFFs!) so we dressed him up in his dinosaur/dragon outfit, which he HATED, to let him prance around.

Saturday, October 27th: Well, I guess this is the outcome of the doggy door incident from last week, but from the outside looking in.  Hudson has officially become comfortable with sticking his head out the door, and if someone is on the other side, has even wiggled his way through a couple times.  Guess we know where to look for him if he goes missing, huh?
